My morning risings continue to be later than I would like: six days in Los Angeles is a sufficient time span to get jag-lagged in both directions.

12.12 Joe the Prolific is The Dead White Guy of choice this grey, drab morning in an English valley west of Salisbury.

The Sidney Smith has called to discuss plans for Soundscapes in Durham Cathedral. We are hoping this is possible during the Summer.

Gustav the Anguished is The Dead White Guy of choice this evening.

The Big Three are in in gear to take a creative leap. Hugh the Big Fourth is at work on the artwork for the next Club Release. The future is beckoning, Spring is getting closer and DGM is bouncing, overworked, overdrawn and in power mode.

Pat Mastelotto & Trey Gunn called today. Both those boys are hot, too. Trey is in New York with his band, and Pat is coming to World Central, en route to Turkey, to master "Gum". All six members of Crim are now nominal and / or de facto band leaders (mine being The RFSQ).

A compilation album of Lotsa White Guys, Mostly Dead, From A While Ago now tunes the study as I diarise away.

This afternoon in the Music Room the Ton Prob boys, David & Robert, remastered Daryl Hall's "Sacred Songs" and added "You Burn Me Up, I'm A Cigarette" & "North Star". Hall was a dream to work with, his record company and management were not. I haven't heard this album for many years. "Babs & Babs", "Without Tears", "Survive" & other gems brought back happy musical memories, and reminders of a professional musician's learning curve.
